Hello, we're the User Engagement Lead team working in the Parliamentary Digital Service. There are many changes and developments happening within the Digital Service - many of which have a direct impact on others working across Parliament.
For our first sprint we had a goal to produce a working in-browser prototype. It made sense to follow on from some of our work in the Fluxx rapid start incubation.
During the last sprint, Rebecca and I had the task of exploring technology stacks for the new website.
There was plenty of activity around Parliament this week as Wednesday was the State Opening of Parliament. Caroline and Nara managed to witness it in person and even sneaked into the background of the official photos.

This week we held the first gathering of Parliament’s Digital Portfolio board. This is a group of senior leaders from across Parliament who are charged with ensuring that we deliver Parliament’s digital portfolio.
Today the Parliamentary Digital Service is hosting a recruitment open day focusing on the current and future vacancies in our Development and Portfolio teams.
