This is the Data & Search team's third set of fortnight notes. The idea is to keep an ongoing, public record of what we're doing. We'll iterate the notes with a view to making them better over time.
This week we've been continuing our work on topics and members, and started to look at long-form content with stakeholders in the Commons, Lords and POST.
As many of you will be only too familiar with, recruiting people into technical roles can be particularly challenging. Here at PDS we're dedicated to finding better ways to deal with these challenges.
This week’s focus was mainly on the Topics prototype. Jack trialled Marvel app to produce and test this prototype and Kheira conducted usability testing sessions with 8 participants to test it.
Since April, I've been working as part of the Data and Search team. It's a new team so we've been figuring out what we do, what we don't do, how we work together and with other people. And we've made a fair bit of progress in identifying what's currently broken and how to fix it.
