To improve PDS focus on delivery and its ability to effectively prioritise work on a new website for Parliament, our development team is moving to a new way of working.
Something we realised recently was that we’re not very good at identifying the benefits we bring to Parliament. Tracey Jessup talks about the work we're doing to help measure benefits.
The digital strategy for Parliament is an important thing. For the first time we have a statement of our digital ambition. It’s also significant that Parliament owns the strategy – it isn’t a strategy for PDS as a department. So we're looking for someone to join our Digital Strategy Board.
2017 has included some unexpected things for the PDS. In her first week, Tracey Jessup talks about becoming the new Director, what PDS has achieved so far and what the future holds for us.
The theme of this year's International Women's Day was "be bold for change". A good mantra for everyone, men and women. As I went to a Parliamentary reception to mark the event, I thought of that other quote, "Be the change you want to see".
