Since April, I've been working as part of the Data and Search team. It's a new team so we've been figuring out what we do, what we don't do, how we work together and with other people. And we've made a fair bit of progress in identifying what's currently broken and how to fix it.

The Data & Search team are following the lead of the Website Alpha team by publishing a short update on activity on a regular basis.
Towards the end of May we went to see Matt Jukes at the Office for National Statistics (ONS) in Newport to learn from his experience as Product Lead building the new ONS website.
I have been the Head of Data & Search for 6 weeks, working in Emma Allen’s Digital Development team. It is a new role, and I’m fortunate because it’s something that I wanted to do for a while.
Last weekend saw Parliament joining forces with the National Audit Office (NAO) and The Office for National Statistics (ONS) at Accountability Hack #AccHack14, as part of Parliament Week, working in partnership with Rewired State.
