I have been the Head of Data & Search for 6 weeks, working in Emma Allen’s Digital Development team. It is a new role, and I’m fortunate because it’s something that I wanted to do for a while.

This week we held the first gathering of Parliament’s Digital Portfolio board. This is a group of senior leaders from across Parliament who are charged with ensuring that we deliver Parliament’s digital portfolio.

The Parliamentary Digital Service came into being on the 1st of April, and behind the name change it is still very much two teams: Parliamentary Information Communication Technology (PICT) and the Web and Intranet Service (WIS).
