Weeknotes: Alpha Web Team 29/07/2016

This week we had our show and tell for Sprint 6, which focused on the results of the usability testing of the Statutory Instruments prototype.

Rebecca and Giuseppe started work on a feature to let the Indexing and Data Management Section (IDMS) tag entities from the data to 'concepts' and other entities in general. They had further discussions with Trung on the architecture of the new site and got an overview from Steve on go.cd. Steve also held a Docker  workshop for the team.

Kheira met with Anthony to discuss an analytics framework he's currently working on. She also started work with Nik on 'topics' user research in preparation for future sprints.

Michael gave a presentation in the data show and tell on the domain model for Parliament. Dan Brickley from schema.org attended and met with the team afterwards.

Jack has been working on iterating the Statutory Instruments prototype. He also attended the London Web Standards meet-up on Monday which had two greats talks on service workers and web components.

Finally the team said goodbye to Steve whose last day was on Friday. We marked the occasion with plenty of Aperol Spritz and Nandos.
