Weeknotes: Alpha Web Team 15/07/2016

It’s been again a busy week for all!

Ganesh, Ed, Edward and Jack analysed the findings from guerrilla testing conducted on the Statutory Instruments (SI) prototype on mobile. Jack iterated wireframe based on that feedback.

Kheira conducted a specialist interview with a member of the House of Lords. She analysed the teachers’ focus group conducted last week and presented the findings to the learning team in the Commons. She also met with ODI and MySociety in Sheffield to talk about parliamentary open data.

Steve explained the AWS platform and Continuous Delivery capability our team is building to Matthew, the work experience student who has been with us this week.

Steve continued work on our logging and monitoring capability. He also attended DevOps Summit with Vinitha.

Rebecca, Giuseppe and Steve built a Python app to bring back external Petitions data and integrate it with the existing data prototype. The app uses the Flask web framework.

Jack has been working with Joe from the Content team, Edward and Katya to further iterate the SI prototype.

Rebecca and Giuseppe are working on the markup for the SI prototype.
