This week has been focused around the end of sprint 4, and the accompanying show and tell (with our highest turnout yet), and the planning of sprint 5, which we’ve decided will be on statutory instruments.
Ed and Caroline held a pop-up stall in Portcullis House to showcase our prototypes and talk about the work we do.
Edward (our second Ed) has joined us from the Lords Committee Office until the end of August.
Giuseppe and Rebecca have worked on including JSON-LD data inside the proof of concept HTML markup (but they still need to polish it up in order to meet search engine standards). They’ve also started exploring new tech stacks for a possible future sprint.
Steve has helped move Jack, Rebecca and Giuseppe over to Docker for Mac and created a development kit repository for all new development. He also incorporated traefik.io into the local development container setup to replicate production more closely.
Kheira had a meeting at the ODI for a kick-start of a project to review Parliament’s open data.
For the final few days of the week we’ve all started swotting up on statutory instruments as well as meeting various people from the Lords and Commons and arranging recruitment for interviews later in the sprint.
